Meet the Builder

Cody Call Company is operated by Cody Palen. A lifetime resident and second generation waterfowler from the flatlands of Kansas. What started out as desire to hang out with his dad and hunting buddies quickly turned into a lifetime passion of chasing ducks and geese across the central flyway. With over 30 years of experience in the field, the purpose of the hunt has continually changed, but the passion for outdoors has never faded. Cody's hunting style is reflected in his calls. An aggressive, super responsive sound, that was molded from years of open landscape traffic and public hunting.

In addition to his experience in the field, Cody has spent the last decade traveling the country competing in some of largest duck and goose calling contests. He holds a number of state and regional titles, while being a multi-time qualifier and top ten placing finalist in the Worlds Championship Duck Calling Contest. 

Finally, and most importantly, our faith and family here at Cody Call Company are what direct our path in this life. Whether it's being in the field with family, traveling across the country to compete on stage with friends, or spending hours perfecting a call to help you build your own memories - our commitment to this craft starts with the relationships it's meant to bring together.
